What GSS Analytics is
GSS Analytics is a football betting analytics platform built and operated by GSS Analytics Ltd in London. It turns match data into calibrated probabilities and shows where bookmaker odds disagree with them — across AI-assisted picks, backtested Verified Systems, value-bet detection, an arbitrage finder, a parlay builder, bankroll tracking and Closing Line Value (CLV) tracking. Coverage spans 30+ football leagues and cups, in English and German.
GSS Analytics is an analytics tool. It is not a bookmaker, does not accept bets and does not guarantee winnings.
How our predictions work
Our models are built on the Poisson / Dixon-Coles family of football models: team attack and defence strengths — informed by expected goals (xG), form and match context — produce a probability for every scoreline, which rolls up into win/draw/loss and market probabilities. On top of that we apply four disciplines that most tipster products skip:
- De-vig before comparison. Bookmaker margin is removed from odds so model probabilities are compared against the market's true implied probabilities, not inflated ones.
- Calibration. Model outputs are calibrated against historical outcomes so that "60%" means the outcome actually happens about 60% of the time.
- Walk-forward, out-of-sample backtesting. Systems are tuned on one period and tested untouched on a later one. Verified Systems publish their 365-day out-of-sample record including worst drawdown.
- CLV as the scoreboard. We treat Closing Line Value — beating the market's closing price — as the primary evidence of edge, because it stabilises in weeks where ROI needs years. Why CLV, explained.

What we deliberately don't do
- We don't sell "guaranteed wins", fixed matches or 90%-win-rate screenshots — and we publish how to spot the backtests behind such claims.
- We don't cherry-pick results after the fact: Verified Systems are judged on out-of-sample data only.

GSS Analytics is built by the GSS Analytics Team — a small London-based group of engineers and football-data modellers. All editorial content on this site (blog, guides) is produced by the team and reviewed against the same standards we apply to our models: sourced, testable, no hindsight curation.
